The truck has been back-halfed and features a Ford 9” rear end, lowering blocks, and a custom bed floor to allow the truck to settle down over those big rear meats. A custom tonneau cover, which matches the interior has been installed along with hidden tailgate releases, and zippers on the cover to allow access to the fuel filler, and the battery. The interior is ready to show with gray and white vinyl custom bench seat, custom door panels, and custom headliner. A tilt steering column has been installed with polished shifter and Banjo steering wheel. The cab is nicely carpeted and the dash is painted just as nice as the exterior of the truck. The driver has a great view of the Dakota Digital gauges in the classic Chevy shape everyone knows. The final touch inside is a flame rearview mirror!
Powering this street rod is a built 350 CID V8 with aluminum intake, 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, headers, MSD 6A box, MSD coil, MSD billet distributor, hot rod flame air cleaner, finned valve covers, polished pullies, electric fan, and braided hoses! A Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission sends the power out back to that custom rear end setup.
